Hello,

I am in metro Detroit and I have a Pilot 2015 with 160k miles. We have always stayed on top of maintenance and repairs. My check engine light has come on and we took the car to our normal independent mechanic. He says we need to replace the 2 catalytic convertors which he is quoting 5K. is this a resonable cost? Or should I just dump the car and buy a new one. Cars don't excite me so I just look it as a mode of transportation. Thanks.
