Hello everyone. I (24F) have two male cats (both neutered) ages 2yrs and 3yrs. I was doing laundry when I saw my cat digging around in their litter box. I didn’t think anything of it and moved on. Not even 5 minutes later my cat starts howling and throws up. The photo is of his throw up. My cats NEVER throw up. Both cats have had 2 hairballs in the 2 years I’ve had them. That’s it. I’m fairly certain there is poop in the throw up and that my cat must have been eating poop out of the litter box when I found him. Wtf??? He has never done this before and last week we changed out their food. I’m thinking that there is a correlation however I’m not sure and I want to make sure my kitty is okay. What should I do?? I don’t have extra money in my budget right now to be taking him to the vet (located in the US and the vet costs $150/visit). I’m currently posting at 9pm at night so I’m unable to call the vet and ask for guidance. Any advice or explanation for this happening would be great. TYIA!
