Getting more connections
Are there groups or something where people connect to each other for the sake of increasing their number of connections?
Are there groups or something where people connect to each other for the sake of increasing their number of connections?
I always thought it was impossible, but I recently came across a profile where the number of connections just wasn't there. There were suggested profiles on the right side though, so I know for a fact this person was using LI and had connections.
Is there a way to do this after all?

I applied for the dorms with the highest number of rooms back in November. Does anyone have reliable info on how long it takes to get a WG through them these days?
Does anyone have reliable info on how long it might take for a WG from Studierendenwerk Darmstadt these days? I applied in November and I filtered based on the dormitories with the highest amount of rooms to increase my chances.
A mundet dikush qe ka apliku se voni per vize studentore (Gjermani) me m'tregu a duhen me u noterizu e me u perkthy me vule dokumentet? On the webpages of the different departments of Computer Science (IT Security, AI and ML,...), the “Eligibility Checklist” asks for brief bullet points of topics covered for each core course, along with course names and credits.
In the portal application form, the same table is called “Appendix Equivalent Table” and only instructs us to list course names and credits, no mention of topics.
So are the topics required or not? Does anyone have an answer from staff?
I'd appreciate it if you didn't derail the thread with unrelated questions or speculation.
I'm applying for an MSc at TU Darmstadt and I'm confused about the "Exam" entry in the "Course of studies so far" section.
My Bachelor's is from a non-German university. In my system, there is no single final examination date for the entire degree. I completed courses, earned credits, and my degree was awarded on a certain date. There was no one-day "final exam".
The application instructions say: if you have completed a degree, add an "Exam" entry with the exam date. But I don't have an exam date.
Should I:
I'm filling out the "Self-Assessment of Academic Background" (Eligibility Checklist) that compares my previous coursework to TU Darmstadt's BSc core courses.
I noticed a discrepancy in the instructions:
The official departmental PDF (from the CS department website) explicitly says: "Provide brief bullet points indicating which topics of the core course are covered."
However, the generated application form that appeared in my portal does not mention bullet points at all. It just has a column for "Successfully passed courses with equivalent topics" where I should simply list course names and credits.
Should I include bullet points or just list the course names and credits?
Reapplying to a MSc program (admission unrestricted) after getting in last year but not enrolling. This time the application is significantly shorter. It's not asking me about my BSc details, language skills, or course of studies at all. Last year's application had all of that.
Is this normal for reapplicants? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something or that there isn't a bug in the portal.
