Marriage rules among Garhwali Brahmins in Uttarakhand? (Gotra, dadi/nani side, village lineage etc.)

I am also a Garhwali from the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, and I wanted to understand the actual traditional marriage rules followed among Garhwali Brahmins.

Since many people here belong to the Bharadwaj gotra, how are marriages decided traditionally? What exactly is checked before marriage?

Do families only avoid the same gotra, or do they also check:

dadi side caste/gotra

nani side caste/gotra

village lineage

surnames

how many generations apart the families are

I have heard different things from different people, so I wanted to know the actual customs traditionally followed in Garhwal, especially in Brahmin families.

Would love to hear from people from Uttarakhand/Garhwal who know about this in detail.

Flipkart not deliverable problem

I have been trying to order this product since yesterday, but it is showing “Not Deliverable” across almost all pincodes in India. What makes this even more suspicious is that this is not happening with just one product. Several other products from the same seller are also showing the exact same issue, while some products from the very same seller are still deliverable without any problem.

This clearly indicates that something is wrong with specific listings, inventory mapping, or Flipkart’s backend system.

What is even more frustrating is that this issue started immediately after the SASA sale began. If these products were never actually meant to be sold at the discounted price, then why keep the listings active and visible to customers? This creates false hope, wastes customers’ time, and feels misleading.

If the products are genuinely unavailable, they should simply be marked “Out of Stock” instead of showing fake “Not Deliverable” messages across the country. A PAN India delivery failure for selected products from the same seller does not look normal at all.

This kind of experience is unfair, confusing, and highly unprofessional from a platform as large as Flipkart. Please investigate this issue properly and provide a clear explanation instead of keeping customers in confusion.
