Hello all.

We noticed a puddle form in our front yard. Made sure no water was running in the house, and checked the meter, and it was still creeping up.

I turned off and the on the water supply at the backflow preventer that feeds our irrigation, and eventually found that this double 90 connection has failed. This does not seem like a great, or very professional connection to me.

Are two 90s connected together like this standard?

What is the best solution to just fixing/ replacing this specific fail point, to minimize the chance of this happening again, without having to redo the entire system?
