Hearing words played back to me from a friend's phone
Recently I have noticed something weird happening when I hang out with a friend of mine, and it has made me question my sanity.
Three or so times in the past week when hanging out, while talking, I could've swore I heard the words we just said out loud read back out in a robotic male voice. As an example, I could say, "Yeah, I'm doing fine today," and the voice would say, "doing fine today." Or it would be slightly different like my friend would say, "how are you," and it would say, "how were you."
Every time it has happened she's been on her phone.
When I noticed and brought it up the first time she got really weird and defensive. She's always been a kind of paranoid person, so I wonder if she's recording me? But, why would the end of our sentences play out in a different voice? Does anyone know of an app or anything that would do this?
