u/Direction-Difficult

so almost 2 days ago my house experienced a power outage which turned my internet off. It would not turn back on even after rebooting it myself so called for a technician to fix the problem and I simply got told they fixed it just to find out I still have no internet… does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?? I’ve never had issues with my internet going out and this would be the first; my modem has simply been on with a solid red light for almost a few days now… my phone service is not the best so I have been really suffering without my internet.
