What are y'all using lanterns for?

Since they're so easily outclassed by either weapon lights or headlamps (being both available earlier and not requiring diodes), I thought maybe I'd use them to light dark areas, but I can also just do that with wall lamps for a fraction of the resources. Lanterns do look nice though so I'm tempted to just dump spare diodes for cool lights

Are y'all doing anything clever or aesthetically nifty with them?

Can you switch teleporter tags to change destinations?

Like have one teleporter in my base, and then the rest I just go to by picking the tag?

We need a spear on a rope

Like an earlier game returnable throwing weapon, instead of darts or something you have to try and grab up close, to make throwing combat a bit more versatile. I'm thinking something like a makeshift spear with a 'rope' made out of rubber bands so it boings back to you. Later types could maybe have like a carbon spear with a cord that you can electrify after it hits, or a laser rope that creates a damaging line from your thrown point to the spear

For the sake of science, I give away this idea patent-free

Not to the point we can stunlock them, but currently I feel like the intended flow of combat doesn't work when enemies are basically immune to hit stun. Players can get stunned out of almost every animation on hit, while enemies have hyper armour on all of theirs. You want to risk charging in to engage a priority target and try to interrupt a mage casting a spell at you? Too bad, it'll ignore your hits and cast it in your face. Want to do a combo? Too bad, enemy attack frequency won't allow it, even in a 1 on 1. If you get a heavy attack off you can interrupt something, but I hope you're prepared to keep doing it, because enemies instantly recover

This isn't even a matter of difficulty (cus I know some of you are going to misconstrue that); it just makes the game feel like shit and limits your viable options in combat. It's easier, and still more annoying. I don't want to cheese enemies or spam fireballs or stand there attacking once and parrying until I win; it's nice to have new combos and skills and stuff, but the game doesn't want me to use them. The game wants me to play in the most boring way possible because a rat 30 levels below me can cancel the momentum of my sword.

Attack, parry, attack, parry, forever. Great. At least I have a cool new heavy attack to use on locked doors
