Hello all,

Longtime lurker in need of advice. I am 6w3d (5/22/2026).

5/14 - 268 hcg

5/16 - 475 hcg

5/18 - 746 hcg

5/19 - brown spotting

5/20 - Transvaginal ultrasound, nothing seen

5/21 - 814 hcg, heavy bleeding that quickly stemmed, coffee ground discharge, second round of ultrasounds showed nothing at all in uterus or tubes. Diagnosed with "threatend miscarriage".

I went to the doctor today and was told "it's a waiting game", that my "numbers are still trending upward" and was offered no other advice or assistance.

I am hoping that one of you might have advice or guidance. I have zero hopes that this pregnancy will be successful and I am scared and frustrated that I am being told simply to wait. I am feeling very alone.
