Anyone else being told that we are going to switch to DUG designed paper bags? This has to be one of the dumbest ideas corporate has ever come up with

Charlie Miller has Bob Matthews tape collection and he said he has 100's of reels from the Grateful Dead notably from 1973, he said he reached out to David Lemieux and GD to offer the reels to them for the vault but didn't get any response, this is a shame as they belong in the vault but he is working on digitalising them so we should start seeing some new stuff on archive but I have no idea how long it will take to do this work, he did mention it is a huge project, check out Charlie Miller's FB page if you want to know more about the project

So I went to see DSO Friday and they played the 11/14/78 show (very interesting set list) so naturally I checked to see if the show was on the app no such luck, went to archive to look there and all I could find was an AUD no SBD so does that mean they don't have one in the vault because that's my assumption I ask because I prefer SBD or matrix over AUD

I'd like to see more NYE shows, maybe complete the ones that have parts of the show, those shows are always a fun time

With warmer weather here remember to stay hydrated heat related illnesses are no joke

How many of you have the digital tags? Do you like them better, I'm not sure how I feel about them yet

The 04/24/72 show has the Rockin' the Rhein album cover and not the cover used for Europe 72 The Complete Recordings my question is did they use the master tapes used for Rockin' the Rhein instead of the ones used for the complete recordings on the playdead app or are the the same set of masters? In my mind they would of probably remastered the show for the complete recordings and not used the one from the 2004 Rockin the Rhein album but I'm no expert in this matter

Has anyone else not been able to release any pre-picks at all this week? We've been unusually slow and the computer won't let us release any pre-picks we literally have to stand around waiting for flash orders to pop up or the computer to decide to auto release orders, it's one of the dumbest things I've seen in a long time

How many people are using a DAC with the app? Which DAC are you using? I got myself a Fosi DS2 as it was affordable, had lots of great reviews on Amazon and all the reviews I watched on YouTube also gave it good review, I'm digging it, I'm no audiophile expert (not even close) but I can definitely notice the difference the DAC has made to my listening experience

I'm loving the app so far
