Hi,
I'm male, 29, and live in the UK.
I'm heading to Japan for the first time to train and compete in karate. I would like to improve my conversational Japanese and be able to communicate respectfully to my instructors while I am there, and for this reason I would like to find a language exchange partner!
I've been taking weekly online lessons for just over a year following the Genki textbook, so I am still a beginner. Ideally, I would like to arrange regular video or voice calls to gain confidence in conversation.
Aside from karate, I'm a huge metalhead, a massive nerd (video games, anime, fantasy), I love to hike and go to the gym, and I'm a singer in a band!
