Decanting Testors Glosscote

Hello, has anyone attempted (and successfully) decanted Testors Glosscote for airbrushing? If so, what ratio did you thin it at...and I assume some for of lacquer thinner was used? I have just been using Glosscote in the can in the past but I wanted to try ab with it. I know I'd get a better finish with a 2k system but I'm hesitant to tackle that....mainly from what I've read about the fume/vocs of 2k. Thanks

Hello all! Can anyone tell me what I may have done wrong to cause the texture to appear on these spoons spray outs that I did today?? This was my 1st time using ProScale paints. I sprayed at 20psi using a Paasche Talon with a #2 needle. I don't know if I didn't wait long enough between coats?? PS says 5 min flash between coats. I didn't thin as they come thinned for airbrush use. I was spraying at about 4 to 6 inches away....it seemed like the closer I got the "wetter"/smoother it laid down....but it still dried with this texture. And it feels exactly how it looks. I'm gonna ask PS for advice as well but thought I'd ask here as well. As always...thanks for any help!!

Hello bench brothers...and sisters!! Do any of you use double sided tape for engine and body/parts mockups?? If so what brand(s)?? Is there any issues with residual adhesive as far as painting goes?? I've been using Ticky Tac from HL but it: 1) doesn't hold as tight as I need sometimes. 2) it doesn't get as thin/flat as I'd like for tighter test fits.

Please share any other ideas for mockups if you have them!!! Once again thanks for the help and one of these days I'll get the courage to post my projects 😬😏🙈
