I have a 2004 ford ranger V6 3.0L. I was off road and drove through a puddle that soaked everything a few weeks ago, and caused a major misfire. I had to limp the car off road for a long way before getting back on pavement to tow it back home. I replaced the plugs and coils which largely got rid of the misfire, but now it has to crank a long while to start, and when it does start it misfires for the first 5-10 sec before running normally. When starting I also notice a very faint fuel smell. Im curious based on these symptoms what yall think the problem could be. I have my suspicions, but im curious if yall think of something I haven't yet. Thanks in advance!
