Reached out to a coworker I’ve developed a work friendship with over a few months now. went like this.

Q: Hey! Been wanting to ask for a bit but would you like to hang out sometime?
A: hii :) i’m not dating at the moment but i appreciate the invite! hope you’re having a good day

Best way to respond? Thinking my best option here’s to say, “No problem I think you’re really cool!” And leaving it there.

But I’m wondering if it seem like she’s maybe inferring she would hang out casually if I stayed within boundaries obviously. Maybe something would come out of it if I took a leap but don’t wanna be “that dude” you know?
