Dramatic rescue!
A week ago Friday, I rescued this baby from traffic in downtown Seattle. It was dramatic, adrenaline-fueled, and traumatic (for both of us, most likely). He finally ran wailing under my car when I was chirping and calling for him, which was preferable since my car was stopped with the hazard lights on but wasn't blocking traffic. I finally spotted him in my wheel well and burned myself on my brakes while pulling him out He was terrified and semi-feral, so I was bleeding, too.
Anyway, I'm actually retired from rescue and had some connections, so I had a contraband kitten in my office until a rescue that specializes in ferals came and picked him up. The first pics are from May 29th and the last is from today. The rescue says he'll be ready to be adopted with another kitten there in about three weeks. ❤️
