Hello! I’ve had this record player for some time and I recently bought some of my fiancés favorite albums to surprise her. I have some powered bookshelf speakers that I hooked up (https://a.co/d/0bkPSvir), but I am getting a horrible static noise for some reason. The needle hasn’t been replaced for some time and this only happens on certain records so I’m lead to believe it may be a frequency issue and the needle is just worn out? Idk I’m not very knowledgeable in these areas.
I have attached a video and pictures of my setup so any help is appreciated! And no, I don’t have time/money to invest in a state of the art record player. Just trying to do something nice :)
