So I found a middle ground that went a lot better than expected. I cut down the iron warriors skull on his belt, then cut up a shoulder piece from the IF upgrade spru and used it. I wasn't brave enough to try and mess with the hammer, thought of replacing the head with a tech marine ax head but I think the hammer is cooler.

Looking for suggestions on color scheme, I was just thinking the classic yellow with some black trim and some steel trim. Opinions welcome
