Patch cables with shielded run

I have a dumb question.

Due to requirements, I have to use shielded cable for my exterior connections. So, I have some properly terminated shielded cat6a, going to a shielded keystone jack, connected to a shielded patch panel that is properly grounded. The rack that the patch panel is mounted holds a switch, both switch and rack are also properly grounded.

The patch cable connecting the switch to this run, does it need to be shielded as well, or is it fine since both ends of the run are grounded?

1st hm run, already want to restart

Recently made the switch to try honor mode. I play on Xbox, and my controller is a bit finicky, but I figured I'd give it a go.

I roll a hexblade warlock/shadow sorcerer, snagged the everburn sword, get off the ship, rescue Shart, laezel, gale and astarion. I tell gale to go wait at camp. Free withers, now to liberate the grove.

Battle is going well, get them down to the worg and one tracker left. The worg is surrounded by 2 druids and Wyll. My Tav runs in to booming blade the worg - and at the last second controller drifts, selecting Wyll instead. And it crits. I watch as his avatar fades to black and disappears from the screen.

I rage shut off the console - I don't even know if I can load to get him back. Needless to say, I ordered a new controller. Not playing again until it gets here.
