My husband and I are looking to build on a few acres of raw land that my family gifted us. We don't even know where to start. It's a rural wooded area that's about 5 acres, by a dirt road in a rural county in Georgia.

Can someone walk us through the steps of getting this land ready to build on? We are lost and completely new to all of this.
