Hi Apologies for any errors I'm visually impaired.

Not asking for medical advice he's had a check. Just asking if any other owners have seen this.

Our boy is 8, 9 this year.

He is on Apoquel for allergies & has an anti allergy injection every 6 weeks or so.

He's had maybe 10 fits in his life.

He had major stomach surgery in December after eating a bloody blanket.

But that sums up his medical history.

He's absolutely himself & had a vet check Friday that was thorough & gave him the all clear.

However when he is laying down he's doing these almost hypnic jerks.

He was doing it with a jerk with his head & as if he was trying to catch a fly. But just jerking now.

It's not constant & seems to settle when he's deep sleeping. & he does it when hes not quite asleep too

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

I jerk if I have a pain so I'm obviously worried he's in pain.

Hes is normal self apart from this jerking.

I didn't want a dog & will admit I disliked him for almost 3 months.

But he very quickly became my entire world & I'm not longer scared of dogs.

He is absolutely my everything & has changed my life.

I'm just so worried.

We're in UK.

Thanks

Dbl
