Hi,

I have the above named van with a lot of gunge in the engine bay. I am quite certain I have a leaky injector, at least one, as there's lots of goo down around the injectors. There's also goo on the base of the airbox and there's a lof of oily residue on the turbo side intercooler pipe. Turbo is quite audible but whooshes and doesn't seem to whine or squeal and it's still boosting. Exhaust is very smoky under acceleration and after idling for a while. The oily pipe is not dripping but it is caked in thick residue.

Would I be right in assuming I also have a dodgy PCV valve and failing turbo seals? (Edited to add - I'm more familiar with petrol engines, I have since realised in a diesel it's a crank case breather)
