I am very upset

I am very upset

I made this complaint on the app since I cant find where else to complain, and my ID number is null... great

Since the store near my house opened, my family and I have had incredibly poor service. From rude employees, wrong orders, and slow service, this store has left us unsatisfied. Today, I came in and ordered two 3-piece chicken strips and two regular fries. I saw no customers inside, and there were *maybe* 2 cars in front of me. When I pulled up to the window, my order was read incorrectly; it took over a minute to be greeted, and I was told to park in front. The time on my receipt was 11:42 AM. I did not receive my food till 11:51 AM.

If I went to a bar or a chain restaurant like, I could order two strips and fries for 30 bucks a total, with larger portions, better service, and only a $5 difference with barely more time. This is a fast food restaurant; the price and speed should not be comparable to a sit-down restaurant or bar. I am appalled that Jack in the Box dares to charge $ 25.95 for two 3-piece strips and two regular fries.

I have worked in the food service industry, and to be frank, the service I received today was unacceptable. It should take no more than 5 minutes to receive an order like mine outside of a rush.

On top of this, my fries were somehow stone cold and unsalted. I do not believe I will be back at this location for the foreseeable future.

my manager wants me to become a shiftlead, i think

For context, I got hired just over 60 days ago and have been *loving it*. I work at a new stand where we're still short on shift leads. We've had a few people apply already as well as people from other stands/operators transfer over

Today I went in line to grab a free drink, and my manager was working the window. She asked if I was thinking of applying for shift lead? I didn't even realize that was an option this soon, to which she said, 'I think you can apply after your 60 days! Besides, the worst we can say is not yet'

I guess I'm posting this to ask if I should wait a few more months to be a better broista before I try to rock it as a shift lead?

Also, for any current shift leads, if you all have any warnings, comments, or thoughts, I would love to hear them all!
