I genuinely had no idea this game even existed at first (found out about it back in late 2024 on my Nintendo Switch). But when I did, it was hella fun. It reminded me of what Roblox used to be back in the day before all of the weird "kiddie cringe brainrot" stuff. Don't get me wrong, there were still some on here too. But I didn't see quite as much.
I didn’t really play this game often, if at all; but when I did, it was so much fun. I first found out about this game from a YT short I saw of someone singing in "Tay's Singing Stage"—which quickly became my favorite/go-to room in the game. I met a ton of very cool, very talented people on there. Met some AMAZINGLY talented singers and rappers on there. I will never forget that one dude with the absolutely KILLER freestyles on the top of his head (although I don't appreciate him hogging the mic for like 20 minutes at a time 🙄). But I also got to meet some very chill people just casually talking and enjoying the show.
But most importantly, that particular game also helped me express myself with my singing. I wouldn't say I'm the best singer, by any means. But people did say I have a really nice voice. Whenever I played "Tay'sSingingStage", I would always just camp out in the back booth and jam out to my song playlist to anyone that would stop and listen to me. (Thank you to everyone who did stop to listen/sing with me. Your kind words meant a lot, love y'all!) As an EXTREMELY introverted person, this was my way of expressing myself and doing karaoke in front of other people without actually having to, y'know, be in front of other people.
(Funnily enough, almost every girl who I met in the back stage was always singing some Billie Eilish song. I don't know why. That was a weird coincidence. 😂)
But anyways... so to all those players out there that I saw/met in that back corner room of Tay'sSingingStage. The ones that either stopped to listen to me sing; sang along with me; would gift me random stuff; or would just give a quick thumbs-up and leave... thank you. Yeah, it's a small thing—but it genuinely met something to me. I was usually having a pretty rough day whenever I hopped online, so... your, like, kind words/actions really meant a lot to me. Again, to all those cool players... Thank you. ❤️
