I am retired, with four grandkids and housebound.

I waited a long time for crimson desert to come out, yes, I'm a day one prepaid, and with feel my gaming time and play was well spent.

Crimson Desert just might make my 1000+ hour playlist. I've been playing/gaming around with combos of weapon styles, exploring, just generally having a good time doing stupid stuff "will this work? EYEP! wahooo!" Go for trophies? finish the game nah, i"m still busy exploring, playing and having fun...

BTW, anytime you want to add the harvesting scythe to its own combat style, I'll be a fan, right now it works like a spear. Creative variation please? Honestly all i could think about was the movie Puss in Boots-the Last Wish (I told you I had grandkids)., where Death wolf had his scythe turn into two hook weapons.

Negative point: I felt forced just ramp up from chapter 4 to chapter 8 just to get Oongka out to play through one chapter. Not happy about that at all.

My personal Viewpoint: When you give me player bots to fight along side me or be leading character alt, let me choose when to build them up, play them through and don't block out main story line/areas/etc. because I haven't choose to activate them. I'd like more freedom in playstyle.

Positive point: Doing everything without referencing videos/guides has been a grand blast of a game and tear my hair out experience. I love it.

First 8 hours in I cut loose some bandit captured merchants and hit the merchants due to bad key stroke and poof I suddenly had a bounty on my head.

Exploring wise, I just head in a direction. I reference the map for a location on quests but most of my play has been like when I found myself like in chapter 4- just following the road...and checked the map when I was ready to log off. .Varnia??..erk!..
