Thank you in advance! You could probably skip all details and just reply your experience…..My 18 yo son has had AGS for 5 years or so. His worst reactions so far have been from gelatin products. His symptoms from this are throat closing, hives, blood pressure crash and subsequent fainting. The night before last he ate at a Mexican place and had chicken fajitas. Had abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting and got itchiness not chest while in a hot shower and a lot of acid during vomiting etc his throat hurts today from it. He thinks just regular food poisoning. If no else has experienced different rxns then he is likely correct.

My guess would be that if it was AGS related could be cross contamination or not realizing there is beef tallow used to fry other ingredients like beans or chips or whatever. He was on a date so 100% sure his food allergy was not brought to the attention of server so they could give info about these things.

Of course his EpiPen was at home because he usually has it on keys and his vehicle in the shop.

He needs to not eat out and especially not if no epi . But I don’t get a say anymore or even know what he is up to.
