We bought this house and I am so confused as to what the last owners did with the walls in this room. They seem almost fragile? Some of the other rooms have paneled walls so I’m assuming they maybe took the paneling off in this one put up something else? I’m very inexperienced when it comes to home repairs so I’m not sure what is wrong with these walls and what I can do to fix them. What do you suggest is the best option? Should we take these walls down and have someone put up new walls? Put up paneling? There’s a lot of little dents, chips and cracks. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
