India spends trillions on infrastructure but the estimation tools are from 2008
been working with contractors, PWD engineers, quantity surveyors after graduation. every single one of them is doing cost estimation in excel or literally printed rate books.
these are people managing ₹5cr+ projects. the software they use looks like it's from 2008.
India's infrastructure spend is massive but the tools the people executing it use are embarrassingly outdated. no one's building for them because they're not "sexy" enough i guess. so i take things on my hand and build one but still not getting users. like whyyyyyyyyyy!
anyway just venting. anyone else building in this space or adjacent to it?
