Keyboard stopped working after a windows update
I have a Lenovo Legion 7 and my keyboard randomly stopped working right after a Windows update/restart. It was working perfectly fine beforehand.
The Caps Lock light and power button light still work, but the keyboard itself doesn’t type and the keyboard backlight doesn’t come on.
Things I’ve already tried:
uninstalling/reinstalling keyboard drivers
uninstalling the Windows update
updating drivers
factory reset while keeping files
After the factory reset, the keyboard actually started working again temporarily, but then stopped again after I shut the laptop down and turned it back on.
External USB keyboard works fine.
I also tested in BIOS and the internal keyboard still doesn’t work there either.
I’m confused because this started immediately after the update and the keyboard clearly isn’t fully dead since it briefly worked again after the reset.
Has anyone had this happen on a Legion before?
