AITA - Asked to help, get criticized
My partner is in charge of helping our daughter with her English homework.
Today, they asked me to contribute some talking points to her speech, which I did, a few times.
Each time, I'm told one of following
My input doesn't work with the overall structure
My input is not what they are looking for
My input doesn't fit into a paragraph
Im wasting everyone's time making my point regarding my input
In the end, I took charge and added my input to an existing paragraph. When they reviewed it they said it's too long and unwieldy.
I have by this point lost my composure and told them that
They asked me for input and I gave it
I was not in charge of the English homework and not across the structure of the speech.
I am only involved because I was asked.
