I have a Seat Ateca the engine sticker says it requires 0W20 oil, somehow I've picked up 5W40 and not realised until I started pouring it in. Luckily I've only put just over 300ml in and my car is going in for a service next Friday.

Will it be ok?

I wouldn't usually top the oil up myself, admittedly I've never done it before and I certainly won't again 🤣 but my cars been screaming at me about the oil for over 2 weeks now and I was starting to worry as I checked the dipstick and it was very low.
