How long to wait for a response?
UPDATE: she responded to my text! Thank you to those that encouraged me going to the salon. I ended up texting her again letting her know I would visit tomorrow afternoon, and I think that may have been a motivator to respond :,) we have a call tomorrow afternoon to finalize everything!
My wedding is on June 7! Yay! 27 days out, very exciting.
Everything is in order and set, no issues, BUT (always a but) my hair and makeup artist has been ghosting me over the last few weeks? And I’m getting worried about when to call it in terms of trying to find someone new, etc.
We have been communicating through their portal, and they had been very communicative at the beginning. My payments have been on time, nothing outstanding.
They reached out to me on March 17 asking about timeline things. I responded on March 31 (collecting all the final things from everyone and apologized for the wait on my part!) and gave them all the final numbers, details from the venue, etc.
No response on that. Got the payment reminder on April 3, paid that before the due date.
Nothing exchanged until April 27 when I was asking about scheduling my trial. I tried to respond to the timeline convo as well but couldn’t figure it out so sent a separate message same day asking about that and if they needed anything else from me.
No response. Followed up on May 8. Called today, left a VM and then texted them because the phone tree said to text them for a fast response.
How many more times should I follow up? I don’t want to go nuclear when the possibility of them just being busy is very real. They had great reviews, are pretty well known. My friend used them for her wedding so I know they do great work. But I’m just getting antsy on if I should be preparing for the worst and getting quotes from someone else
