Did Rachel Perform the Frolis Maneuver?

At the end of 32: The Separation, where Nice Rachel and Mean Rachel simultaneously acquire and morph each other to turn back into Whole Rachel. My personal headcanon is struggling to resolve how this is not structurally close enough to be considered at least a deviation of the Frolis Maneuver, if not straight up quantum theory (the two bodies/personalities entering into a mutual superposition). Multiple DNA samples are collected and even though they are not different, they are fused together, producing a single entity or morph as a result.

ps: I'm aware it's just a narrative choice to tell the story but the parallels are there

pss fun fact: >!Rachel gets acquired 5 times! Once by Ax, once by Cassie and once by Elena, the blind girl from book 50. Rachel also acquires herself twice, beating Tobias' previously held record of acquiring himself ... well, once 🤣!<

So Many More Andalites Would've Survived if They Would Just ...

ACTUALLY USE THEIR MORPHING POWER!>! In Book 18, aboard the Ascalin, Captain Samilin incapacitates his T.O. Hareli by severing his tail from his body. A small scuffle ensues, involving the Animorphs distracting Samilin long enough for Hareli to disintegrate him with a shredder. At this point the ship has landed behind enemy lines and will be boarded in minutes. !<

>!TO Hareli instructs the Animorphs and Ax to morph into small creatures so they can safely escape the ship through a hatch and fly to safety while the he self-detonates the ship and kills the hundreds of Andalite cadets inside. !<

>!Any Andalites who had a small/bird morph should've also morphed. All Andalite military personnel are given the morph power and have to use it to pass a proficiency test. And Elfangor states that many arisths also acquired the kafit bird. They could use the detonating ship as cover, and in the case of any that get shot down or captured, infestation I would assume would be impossible. !<

TL;DR - the Andalites created a brilliant piece of technology but, like at many other moments in the series, lacked the wisdom to use it to save themselves when they could.
