Is it worth it to pay $100 more on top of your regular monthly car payment?

I got into an accident that totaled my car 2 years ago, during that time the car market was horrendous (I’m sure it still is until now). I have a good credit score (750-800) and even then I still got almost a 7% interest on the replacement car I bought. I am horrible at numbers so I just wanted to see if it’s worth it to pay $100+ more on top of regular monthly payment or it wouldn’t really matter in the long run and I’ll be better off paying the minimum.
