Tax on selling items
I used to sell quite often on eBay but haven't regularly for a while. Recently found out that as of 2024 if you sell over 30 items or over £1000 in a year then HMRC are notified and you have to pay tax on these. Has anyone got any experience of this? Does HMRC actually contact you if it's over 30 items, even if it doesn't reach £1000?
