After months of work I've finally got an alternative Plex client for Android TV ready, and I need some help getting past Google's requirement of 12 testers for 14 days before I can publish it publicly on the Play Store. I'm turning to Reddit again, just like I did with my mobile app a while back.

To keep it short, I built this app around three goals:

Fluidity above everything else.
Strip out the "social" side of Plex and keep only what belongs to your own server.
Zero configuration when u share your server with family or friends.

And while I was at it, just like in the Android/iOS versions, I added an admin dashboard for active sessions with a map that shows where each connection is coming from.

Originally I was going to port my existing Flutter mobile app, but the result wasn't what I wanted, so I decided to rebuild it from scratch keeping all the groundwork I already had figured out. Honestly, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Faster than the official app.
Only shows content from your server (no Live TV, no Plex's free movies/shows).
Everything plays via Direct Play with zero configuration, regardless of codec.
Works for remote viewing, and you can skip intros/credits without Plex Pass.
Admin area (active streams, bandwidth, etc.) with a visualization map.

My next goal is a native Apple TV app, while I keep fixing things on this one and the mobile version.
