hi all! i am new to NYRR and the 9+1 program and was super excited to see that my application to be a student medical volunteer for the nyc marathon was approved this morning 🙂 i haven't been a medical volunteer at a race before and was wondering if anyone who has done it knows what to expect/how i can help the best i can in a student role. ty in advance!

also - is there any way to confirm post-registration that this qualifies as the +1? it says it on the race calendar when registering, but i haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

edit: i'm a PA student too, are roles different between types of students?
