Hi

My Elroq (~6,000 miles) has randomly started creaking when turning the steering wheel to the left.

It was intermittent, but I have now isolated it to when there has been rain, for the next few hours, the car creaks when turning the steering wheel left.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I've booked it into the dealer for diagnosis, but unless it's been raining just before, they will say 'unable to replicate fault'.

Anybody got any advice please?

I have a 2026 Elroq 85 edition company car.

Woke up this morning to a message displayed on the infotainment screen “component protection is active”.

Radio and Bluetooth media will not play, it can see the music on my phone but won’t play. Handsfree calls still work.

Dealer can’t see it for 3 weeks.

Anybody have any ideas what this fault is? why it happened? how to resolve please?
