So i’m following this youtube video (didn’t wanna buy the pattern). so she explains that row one is a series of four “rounds”. starting with 8 dc, a “v” (two dc), 16 dc, a “v”, 8dc, “v”, then another 16 dc. increasing by two stitches each round, so row two would be 10, 18, 10, 18 (v’s in between again). repeating until you get to 8 rows which she says should total 112 stitches. on my paper chart i’ve outlined every row and by the 8th round i’ve only gotten 22, 30, 22, and 30 for a total of 104? would the stitch total be including the v shapes which i think would total 112? this is my first real pattern so be kind, i could just be being silly and the v crochets count for stitches as well? TIA!!! i’m so confused hahahahaha.
