My husband is currently deployed, and he’s the one receiving all the communication about our on-base housing. I’m the one who needs to move in and deal with this alone while he’s gone, but I feel completely out of the loop. All I’ve been told is that I have a house tour scheduled 2 days before the move-in date, and that’s it. What I don’t know is:
• what paperwork I’m supposed to bring if any
• where/when I sign the lease or housing agreement
• how/when I get the keys
• who I’m even supposed to contact if I have questions
Because he’s deployed, he’s understandably busy and doesn’t really have the time or energy to help me figure it out, so I’m kind of on my own.
Any advice would seriously help—thank you.
