Is it normal to get carded for this?

Not sure if all halls have this but we have monthly job evaluation we drop into a Dropbox. I turned mine in for this month and forgot my signature at the bottom. I just received a email that I have been carded and have to meet with my committee because of the no signature. Is this normal?

Should I buy a cheaper car in full or finance a nicer car.

Hello I’m 21 years old and have been looking for a new car. I am an apprentice electrician in the union which means I drive, A LOT, and make around 55,000 a year at the moment (will go up), but for the area I live in this isn’t as bad as it sounds. Obviously not having a car payment might sound like the better decision but I’ve been thinking about it and I’d like to hear some opinions. First of all I would buy around a 6,000 dollar vehicle with maybe 80/100,000 miles. I would finance a newer 15,000 dollar car with 0/40,000 miles, obviously lasting me longe. I also do not have good credit at the moment, which this would definitely help as I plan to hopefully buy a house in the next few years. Still unsure what the more responsible decision is, appreciate any feedback.
