We purchased this painting for $125 at an antique store in Syracuse, NY a few weeks ago. The signature looks like it matches Violet Parkhurst from what I have found online. However the subject of my painting is so different from any of the paintings I saw when I researched her.

I purchased this at a fundraising sale for a charity in Rochester NY a couple years ago. I haven't been able to find a signature and know absolutely nothing about it. Any information would be appreciated!
