ready to upgrade! we have one child, so we don’t need anything huge. looking for a small/med hybrid SUV that can handle the snow and rain here…and the potholes! big trunk would be amazing, but i still want to be able to parallel park in a single space :)

currently considering honda CRV sport touring, hyundai tucson, subaru crosstrek/forester, or nissan. don’t need crazy bells and whistles but some creature comforts would be nice!

hi, looking for suggestions of localities, communities, or developments for an early-70s couple with an elderly dog. he would like a water view, she would like a pool or community ammenities, and i’d prefer lower/mid-westchester. they would prefer a condo/co-op with 3bd/2ba and outdoor space or a basement/work room. budget is around $800k.

they know they won’t get it all, but are there any places they should focus on? none of us are born locals :)

i must attract weird drug side effects. so far i’ve had ego-dystonic thoughts (it’s like SI), intermittant and recurrant hormonal? lower pelvic pain, and now…photosensitivity on my face and arms 😒 i am desperate to get back to 20mg but these side effects are no bueno!

i have a young kid and zero capacity to handle crowds this year (medical stuff). of course, i want my kid to see fireworks. what’s the least travel-aggrivating celebration in the area? we accidentally got stuck in mamaroneck traffic last year for over an hour, so not looking to repeat that! (we weren’t even at the event!)

It’s been a ROUGH year for us so I want summer to be FUN (as long as my energy keeps up). What are the best, not-to-miss events, festivals, experiences, and places in Westchester or nearby surrounding areas during summer? My kiddo is six and loves STEM, museums, and architecture. We’re NOT hikers or super into outdoorsy stuff :)

finished 20 rounds of right-side radiation (incl 5 boost) last week. i had one bout of vomiting during treatment that i thought was overeating, then another on my last day (with diarrhea). i’ve had some low-grade nausea all week. of course RO and nutritionist say it’s not the radiation. the other suspect is a possible lactose intolerance. i did vastly change my diet at the beginning of radiation and had no issues. i also have a history of post-infectious IBS but that’s the other output lol. i’m doing a telehealth with my GI tomorrow to run it by her.

anyone else experience nausea post-treatment?
