Question for coaches

U14, girls town travel team.

Coaching styles are different; my daughter's current coach seems to only focus on errors or mistakes, and will yell thinks like "come on ___!" during a game. Not helpful tactics but just openly upset at their play.

Yesterday, there was a miscommunication where my daughter was throwing in and she thought a player said, to throw her the ball (like, I'm open), but instead she wanted to take the throw in. My daughter threw the ball and the player seemed confused, opponent got the ball. Then it was half time and the coach told her "You could have cost us the game!". Then told the girls if they are slow, he will pull them off the field and he doesn't want to get parent emails about it.

My daughter is counting down the weeks until the season is over and said she doesn't want to play anymore - she then said she would be open to playing a different team with her old coaches.

I was already extremely annoyed by this coach before yesterday and feel like I'm putting my daughter in a bad environment. Other parents also openly dislike his coaching.

I need to know if I'm being overly sensitive and this is normal. My gut wants to pull her out, but I don't like the idea of doing that if I'm overreacting.

The team itself is quite divided - some girls openly talk poorly about their teammates during games and they don't say hello to each other.

Background - My daughter is in a town travel league U14, it's her first year/second season with this team after playing town rec since she was in 1st grade. Since it was rec, it was more about fun and learning the game. She was lucky to have an extremely supportive coaching team for the last 3 years of rec.
