I made an outbound transfer of RON 99k approx 16k GBP on 28/04/2026. Payment was a deposit to purchase a property in Romania as I am settling there permanently.
Immediately after initiating the transfer I received a prompt for supporting information which I uploaded within 2 minutes of receiving the prompt
Its now 08/05 and the payment is still under review.
On 07/05 I received a standard account review request which asked for me to verify my details and also verify some incoming transactions. All transactions were from my own bank accounts. And i provided the information within 2 hours of receiving the request. I used revolut because I could send the money in the exact currency I was invoiced.
Based on the above, has anyone experienced something similar and how long did it take to resolve. I’m more concerned about the transfer being paid out than my account.
Revolut do not give timelines
I have contacted support multiple times with same generic answers.
