My time at D266
I’ve seen quite a few posts from managers about their time at district 266, and it’s about time I shared my own experiences. I left nearly two years ago after the current DM first started and while I was facing many challenges outside of the store. Within the first TWO MONTHS the district lost most of the managers, including the TSM that kept things running. Seriously, losing her was the biggest hit.
The DM Mary (Maggie) Glynn is a horrible person who does not care about the well being of her team of managers, or any staff in the stores at all. She is despicable and truly wicked. She had NINE hr reports put in by the time I left, which was during her first three months. THREE. MONTHS. The number of reports must have tripled from what I’ve heard from managers still in the business. I agree with the other posts here that she is racist, homophobic, and just truly a monster. I put in my own report after she paid a visit to my store and upon me telling her we were having troubling hiring, she told me I looked like shit and she would not want me as a manager if she was a BA. Mind you, this while I was very sick and right after I told her that the night before a close family member had suddenly and unexpectedly passed.
Maggie is close friends with the head of HR which is why I suspect no action has been taken. Don’t work there, nothing will ever be worth it.
