THINKING ABOUT LASER: I've dealt with persistent redness across my cheeks and around my nose for a while now, and I'm trying to figure out whether laser treatment would be worth it. I've attached two photos (different lighting, taken at different times of day).

What I'm seeing:
Diffuse redness on both cheeks
Visible small blood vessels, especially around the nostril/nasal fold
A few small red bumps/spots on the cheek and chin. Note that I also treat some acne as well.

Any downsides, like bruising, downtime, or redness coming back?

Really stubborn! I feel a slight itchy feeling sometimes during the day. Would love some tips from someone that has/had the same type sebderm right there. Thanks!

I have redness and some flaking/scaling in the nasal fold, and I’ve also noticed mild flaking around my eyebrows/eyelids (not red tho). There aren’t many bumps or pustules anymore, which is why I’m questioning the Perioral dermatitis I thought I had.

Has anyone had seb derm that looked like this, especially mainly around the sides of the nose? I also have som flaking in my head. How did you tell the difference between seborrheic dermatitis and perioral dermatitis? And do you know a treatment for this?

Have had this for some months now, and don’t know how to get rid of it!

Have tried TO azelaic acid, and it helped. But it does not seem to go away…. Anyone that has any experience with rash like this by the nose?
