I wanted my milwaukee speaker to have bluetooth.
I bought a milwaukee speaker a few years ago.
I really liked it and never had any issues with it.
Some of the guys I used to work with would brag about their fancy new bluetooth ones.
This got me thinking about how I could upgrade mine.
I used to just hook up a bluetooth board to the usb port and the AUX connector in the top spot of the radio, but eventually fully enclosed the module within the case.
The range on the bluetooth wasn't great, so I got an external antenna.
With some tricky soldering (to me), I was able to attach an smd antenna mount to the bluetooth boards old antenna.
It was a fun project that taught me about how great ali Express is, interfacing with devices, audio wiring, and signals with antennas.
