Managing a child with psoriasis

Hi! My little sis is about 10 and has been diagnosed with psoriasis since she was 6. To be frank, my parents don’t take much time to manage it, so a lot of her management falls onto me. I go with her to derm appointments, wash her hair often, and I’m the one to remind her to apply her creams often. It’s a tough position to be in, she sometimes gets frustrated at me for trying to manage it. She tells me kids at school are starting to notice it which makes her upset. I try to not make it seem like a big deal so she’s not insecure about it. I tell her constantly how beautiful her skin is. But I know how fragile a young girls confidence is.
I’m wondering what things have helped yall manage your psoriasis?
Her derm suggested a few months ago to try an elimination diet, which I spoke about with my mom but she was kind of resistant to it. Has that helped anyone? I feel like I may be able to convince her.
Her psoriasis is mainly on her scalp, ears, hands and legs.
Any thing would be helpful!! Even tips for managing her mental health. Thank you <3

Drinking

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone has been able to drink comfortably on their meds? I started about 6 weeks ago, and have been unable to drink since. It sounds like a silly concern, but I’m a college student and I drink socially.
Even 1 drink makes me incredibly sick. I went out with my friends a few weeks ago and sat on a patio and had 3 drinks, threw up all night and multiple times the next morning. It’s also a very painful throw up. I only drink seltzers like high noons, nothing sugary or crazy. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
