Hi team - I am having a mini bypass in July. My pre-op is later this month. I have seen a metabolic nurse therapist once and am booked in to see her several more times before my op (and I intend to keep seeing her). I also have a psych through my surgery package for up to 2 years.

My question is about ‘the work.’ The work to stop the head hunger, the work to not stuff my face when I am stressed, the work to make sure I get a return on my investment.

I’m feeling a bit messed up and I’m not sure when I might start having these breakthroughs. Is it pre-op or should I just be chilling until I’ve had the surgery? I just want to be successful.
