Lock goats in shelter at night?

As the title suggest, I'm looking for all your opinions on whether or not to lock our pygmy goats in their 10' x 10' shelter at night? I currently has no windows or openings so would feel rather claustrophobic. Definitely coyotes in the area although I've only ever seen one close by.

Pygmy goat bedding

Good day all we are getting three pygmy goats in a few weeks.

They have a 10x10 enclosed barn.
I'm wondering if I should put down a rubber mat and then straw for their bedding first?

Mini donkeys, headbutting

We just got our 2 Female mini donkeys yesterday. One is six months old. The other one is two years old

the two year-old one seems to want to headbutt straight in the body. It kind of takes a couple steps and rounds its head into our body. is this love, affection, playing, hatred, lol?

First time owning donkeys here so just trying to give them the best life possible. Is it normal to keep water outside but also some water inside undercover for when it's raining as they don't like the rain?
If kept inside in their lean to what type of water bucket do you leave in there for them?

Hi Group

We are getting 2 young miniature donkeys tomorrow and are very excited!!! We have basically everything we need for them. As I was sitting out their 85 gallon water tank yesterday I realized it is quite big, maybe way too big.
The person who recommended that I buy this specific one does not have miniature donkeys. I personally have not seen the miniature donkeys in a little while so I don't know how big they are but I'm guessing this 85 gallon water tank is a little too big for them.
Can you guys let me know what you would recommend for a watering tank?
